Tobacco-Cessation Program

For many people, quitting tobacco may be one of the toughest things they will ever do. But you don't have to do it alone! Many resources are available for free to help you quit. And research shows that you're more likely to quit and stay tobacco free when you go through a nicotine-replacement or coaching program.

Reasons to quit

1

You may live longer (and so will the people around you)!

2

You will feel better. There are many health benefits to quitting smoking, some of which you will notice within minutes and hours.

3

You will save about $3,500 a year, since a two-pack-a-day habit costs about $10 per day or $280 per month. Plus, if you are eligible for American Greetings health benefits, you will pay less for medical plan coverage because you will not incur the tobacco surcharge.

Resources and programs to help you quit

More than four in five smokers say they want to quit. And each year about 1.3 million tobacco users do quit. With the help of tobacco-cessation programs, 20 to 40 percent of participants are able to kick tobacco and stay off of it.*

You don’t have to do this alone!  American Greetings provides the following resources and programs to help you quit.
